An update from your Pastor
Updated July 9th
I want to remind everyone that the CDC does recommend a 14-day quarantine after you have been exposed to the virus or experiencing symptoms. If you do happen to test positive, or someone in your household tests positive, we do ask that you worship with us from home over the proceeding 14 day period.
We are continuing to monitor our Sunday worship attendance. The state of Arizona has limited public gatherings to no more than 50 people. We were just under 50 people this past Sunday. We will continue to monitor our numbers and add an additional service time if needed.
Also, another reminder that we have postponed our annual church meeting and board election to Sunday August 2nd. Once we hear back from all of our board nominees, we will announce those who have accepted the nomination to be on the ballot. The church membership will then vote on our new board at our annual church meeting on August 2nd.
As we continue through this unique season, I pray that we focus on not just our physical health, but also our spiritual health. It is great to hear reports of so many people participating in regular devotions, and so many of you joining us via live stream for our Sunday worship service. May we not neglect the call to be the church, even though being the church might look a little bit different this season.
The church office has regular hours again!
