October is clergy appreciation month, and it’s just around the corner! Churches worldwide are encouraged to show their appreciation for clergy and pastoral staff members through a gift, a note of encouragement, or other methods.
Here are some ideas to show your pastors and clergy members your appreciation:
Encourage your pastors by letting them know how God is specifically using them to bless, help, and teach you to follow God.
Throw them a “gift card” shower.
Give clergy families a night out to a local restaurant or gift certificate for an overnight getaway.
Allow members of the congregation to volunteer time serving pastoral leaders by babysitting or helping with yard projects and other home maintenance.
The National Association of Evangelicals has also compiled a list of creative ways to bless your Pastor.

This year, we need someone or a group of people to coordinate our Angel Tree outreach. This program allows us to personally help kids in our area by giving them presents from their incarcerated parent.

We are collecting clothes for the month of September! Bring your gently used clothing to church on Sunday and they will be taken to a Phoenix ministry for distribution.
You can Volunteer for once a month, once a quarter, or every time MOPs meets!
Women's Ministry is fundraising for future activities! Order your delicious butter braids treats at church in the foyer.

Dear Church family,
As you probably know, the Loveworks building has sold and we don't yet have a new location. Many heartfelt thanks to all of those who helped in the cleaning out of the old facility. It was a daunting task made easier by all who helped. We are praying that God will lead the Loveworks ministry to a new location where we can continue to serve those in need. In the meantime, we will not accept donations as there is not enough storage to hold them. Continue to keep this ministry in prayer as we look for a new location.
