The Discipleship Place releases small group discipleship resource
The Discipleship Place has released a video course called “Spark: Being and Making Disciples in Small Groups,” focused on giving leaders the tools to help foster discipleship culture within their churches.
The video courses are designed by Michael Downs, pastor of Bridgeway Church of the Nazarene in Pekin, Illinois. Downs says he wrote the curriculum after years of feeling disillusioned by what he saw in other discipleship models.
“This is about creating a church-wide discipleship culture, not just one-on-one but as an entire setting for your church,” Downs said.
The 13-session course shares principles and methods for small-group discipleship, allowing those who take the course to discover practical and effective ways to make disciples in a small-group setting.
The course is available now for enrollment through The Discipleship Place.
